Just a few small things before calling it a (short) night:

• Updated a few things on the submissions guidelines page
• Creating a draft page with a howto for WordCamp organizers

Successfully started the Hong Kong uploads while setting up a tasklist for the weekend and into next week, including some follow-up emails to snag some more WordCamp footage and get it up there for everyone.

Cleanup things at the end of my day:

• Transcoding the Matt video from Denver overnight to try and squeeze some extra compression out of it – first attempt wasn’t up to snuff
• WordCamp Hong Kong videos are “revised” on the FTP – two have been stitched already and ready for publish – the numbered ones need work yet (check the manifest)

My attention’s slightly divided tonight, but for now:

• Checking on acquiring master video from WordCamp Chicago to see if we can pump up the volume a bit
• Listening to my computer’s pleas for mercy while I upload one more 1.5GB Denver video
• Filling in metadata for the two Denver videos that uploaded today
• Evaluating and prioritizing video from WC Hong Kong
• Maybe some browsing through older posts to see what needs refeshing

Finished the WordCamp video pass; set up some alerts to keep an eye on the greater community and make sure we’re doing everything we can to help users find the help they need.

Projects for the rest of the week include:

• a content “audit” for wordpress.tv to check for tutorials that need updated versions
• any holes in the content we do have that could be useful to the community
• investigating some options for organizing wptv content and increasing accessibility
• beginning overtures to the existing community to engage them in wptv moving forward

Also hoping my upload of WC Denver video doesn’t stop mid-process while I’m not here to babysit it.
